The Valleys looking East

Took a quick hike up to Waahila Ridge above Manoa and Palolo valleys this weekend. Lovely day and nice to be able to get out and away for a bit. Maybe I'll bring the pochade box up here in the future. On a windy day, the view of clouds casting dark, fast moving shadows up the ridges and down into the valleys and back up and down again is amazing. Saw a big centipede scampering down a skinny little octopus tree shooting up above the canopy. I think he must have been enjoying to view too.
